Wade H. Chessman has been assisting people with protecting, preserving, accumulating, and transferring wealth for the past fifteen years.
Wade is passionate about teaching clients about the importance of planning for income after retirement. He regularly holds presentations which are widely attended by individuals who are looking forward to a successful, relaxing retirement. To that end, Wade has developed a unique process to assist people in managing their resources and helping them navigate the risks unique to retirement - the Chessman Retirement Income Advantage. His approach to retirement income planning seeks to develop a plan that attempts to provide reliable and sufficient income for life after retirement, and one that aims to anticipate the risks associated with retirement.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, Wade has an extensive knowledge of financial planning issues, taxes, estate planning, investments, and risk management.
Wade received his undergraduate education at the Sam Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Wade is also a graduate of the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
Wade is active in supporting his local community. He is involved with the East Dallas Exchange Club, which assists underprivileged children in the Dallas area. He also participates in the financial ministry at his church. He and his wife, Dianna, enjoy spending time with their two daughters.

Sean Phillips, CFP® sean@chessmanwealth.comSean joined Chessman Wealth Strategies in July of 2007 as a registered sales assistant and Financial Services Coordinator. As Financial Services Coordinator, he supports all activities associated with the daily operation of the company. Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Chessman Wealth Strategies. He started his career in financial services with UBS. He then worked for a leading financial planning firm before moving to 1st Global as an insurance planning specialist. Sean holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations as an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network as well as his group insurance license. Sean received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Outside of Chessman Wealth Strategies Sean enjoys spending time with his wife Cherie and two daughters.

As Office Manager, Linda is available to answer and assist clients with any service issues that may arise. She is excited to do her part to provide our clients Four Seasons service with Fed Ex Efficiency.
Linda brings over ten years of financial services experience to Chessman Wealth Strategies. Her past roles as an investment consultant, assistant to an estate planning attorney and office manager for a financial services firm, gives her the unique skills and experience she needs to efficiently manage our office. Linda graduated with a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
Eating healthy, working out and socializing with family and friends are all important parts of Linda's leisure time. Now that her children are grown, she has spent time meeting new people and exploring new places: two week-long sailing trips in the British Virgin Islands (first snorkeling adventure), motorcycling road trips around North Texas, being a frequent spectator at area concerts and sporting events, exploring Texas Lakes and Bed & Breakfast Towns.

Gary provides invaluable assistance to Chessman Wealth Strategies in his role as research assistant. Prior to working with Chessman Wealth Strategies Gary worked for Charles Schwab and Company. In addition, Gary has over 27 years of experience in the banking industry.
Gary received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois. He received his masters degree from George Washington University. Gary also served seven years as an officer in the United States Navy.
